I think what you want to do is this: * Install the Portable version of Zim Desktop Wiki for Windows onto your thumbdrive, from here: http://www.glump.net/software/zim-windows * Also extract the source tree to another folder on your thumbdrive. It will run on most GNU/Linux machines without a lot of fiddling. Navigate to where 'zim.py' is and run it.
