Typing the text and selecting it (shift+arrow keys) and invoking Ctrl+L brings up the insert link window. The field selected automatically is the link to field itself. This also has the benefit of confirming that the destination exists. Additionally, It is not always necessary to indicate the full hierarchy of the destination - Zim automatically finds the reference so long as the reference rests in the same page-sub-page hierarchy. Am I missing something here?
