Since upgrading macOS to Sierra, Zim will no longer start for me due to CPython 
crashing. More details here: 

Running Zim in standalone mode (python zim.py --standalone) seems to work, 
however. What is different about the standalone mode? Any reason not to use it?

Jaap, it would be very helpful if you could add any observations that could 
help debug the crash.

Is anyone else running Zim on macOS Sierra using the Homebrew-provided Python, 
PyGTK and dependencies?
