Hi Roberto, I got the same configuration as you (Ubuntu 19.10 with Budgie desktop although, Zim 0.72.0), and alt-d is working fine.
Maybe you could take a look at the key bindings now available in the preferences and see if you got the following entry : <actions>/journalPageViewExtension/go_page_today ALT-D Hope this helps.
