Hi all,
I have a MoinMoin wiki with a few hundred pages. I used (and still use) this much in the same way I use Zim. However Zim is much easier to edit and just as available since I keep an instance serving pages out of a mirror of my notes. I want to migrate this MoinMoin wiki to Zim.
I found a couple of formatters that convert Moin pages to
DocBook and reStructuredPage that I could use with pandoc to
convert to Zim. However I'm having trouble getting these to work,
they have old dependencies, fail in mysterious ways and depending
on python 2 is no help, I'm still studying this.
I can also dump the wiki to html and the use pandoc again to make
the conversion, this solution cripples the internal links so it's
no solution at all.
Finally I'm considering just copying the latest version of each page and attachments to a directory hierarchy compatible with Zim, and then make the changes necessary with sed and the like since the syntax is not that different (the tables are a problem but I don't have that many).
Do any of you know about a migration tool from MoinMoin to Zim?
Thanks,
Helder
