Hello everybody.
Just a little tip on how to have icons in the page index view, even if
the widget does not have that feature : you can always put an unicode
character in the page title, like that :

cons :
• title can't start with the 'unicode icon'.
• Unicode icon is part of the file name.
pros :
• No need for evolution or plugin that overrides the page index panel
• It's based on the unicode standard, available everywhere
You can also create a custom tool to open a software to pick an unicode
character, gnome-characters for example :
<https://omacronides.com/pics/softs/zim/tool-gnome-characters.png>.
