Actually, while Mark is treating us to his usual dry humour, he's probably right. It 
was intended as an anti drug money-laundering measure, but if you take more than 
$10,000 out of the US you have to fill out a declaration put out by the US Treasury. I 
think you're allowed to take $10,000 (as long as you file) but ultimately there's a 
limit, but I don't know what it is.
