So I feel safe in making two honest-to-goodness prognostications:

1. Short-term: once the US midterm elections are over, Iraq will fade away as an issue.
2. In the medium term, Pakistan is the greater threat, and the flashpoint that sets 
Pakistan off will be Kashmir.

You heard it here first folks.
