Zawahir was last seen travelling on horseback towards the Pakistani border, along
with Osama bin Laden. For some odd reason he took a trail only horses could
traverse, while we allies bombed his more-or-less empty caves. Seriously, Judith
Miller, in her book "God Has 99 Names" talks a lot about Muhammed al-Zawahir, if
it's the guy I'm thinking of. Black horn-rimmed glasses, spiritual mentor to bin
Laden?
