I decided to add an addendum reply onto this message. I am indeed sorry to hear that the church is just announcing or seeming to announce that the papyri was indeed a funeral text. I also understand that not all the papyri can be traced because some of it was burned. It could be that Joseph Smith was translating from that, right? But this may indeed stir up anti-Mormon sentiment.
