How do I find it?
Also, where can I find data on average retail prices for stuff like bread and eggs since 1950? I've been looking here:
http://www.bls.gov/cpi/
...and I found some...but getting anything seems like pulling a tooth. They have so much info that to find one particular price for one thing since 1950 is like almost impossible.
If I was in America, I would just go the newspaper and look through the archives at the ads.
Any ideas?
