Hi Steve,
Both are wonderful alternatives (I love them both), unfortunately I am 
currently stuck on non coolthreads sprac H/W, so LDOMS and ZEN
 are not an option for me till I can scrounge some new H/W.

Anyone got a spare 5120 or U40 laying around they don't want :-)

So Zones is my only/simplest option.
