hello list. You'll have to bear with me, i'm very much a newb when it comes to solaris. I've been slowly fighing with it all day trying to learn/teach myself how to use zones.
I've managed to: create a zone get some filesystems mounted into it.... but now i need to get it connected to the internet and i'm falling flat on my face. It has an ip...and i can ssh into the zone or ping it from anywhere on the network but when i try to ping, say, google.com or opensolaris.org (or download a package) it doesn't work. I'm sure i'm doing something wrong....I come from FreeBSD and with FreeBSD jails this same sort of thing would happen if i didn't copy /etc/resolv.conf into the jail so i tried that....i realize that zones are very different and this was likely not going to help. Any help would be appreciated.
