don't detach your zones before doing the upgrade. if you do, they will not be snapshotted and cloned. > I don't care if I can't downgrade back to 129, but I do > need to get global and the zones running and up to 134. > > Suggestions? > normally, you would do an image-update in the gz, then reboot to the new image, detach your zones, and attach -u them. but this procedure currently doesn't work if you don't have entire installed. this is a known bug that is being worked on: 14684 zone attach incorporation logic needs enhancement http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=14684 hence, before doing your image update, i'd recommend re-installing entire.
