I thought there would be much more trees than clients. So if tracking per 
client is high overhead, wouldn't that apply to the trees ? What is the normal 
arit between clients/trees ? Again we are talking about clients that store 
something not the ones that refer to the nodes

Application/Service makes sense, but how would we reliably know the app name 
and also deal efficiently with duplicates ?
