Chris Darroch commented on ZOOKEEPER-378:
-----------------------------------------
The additional 5 release audit warnings are for files which don't need (or
can't have) licenses, i.e., the Changes, README, NOTICE, MANIFEST, and LICENSE
files. These are important for either running Makefile.PL, and/or releasing
Net::ZooKeeper to CPAN.org periodically. (Perl users can be expected to look
there for ZooKeeper support even before downloading a ZooKeeper package and
looking there.)
FYI, the link in the Hudson report to the releaseAuditDiffWarnings.txt file is
incorrect, it seems to be in .../artifact/trunk/patchprocess/. Also, it's not
correct, but looking at the patchReleaseAuditWarnings.txt output reveals the
extra five files.
As for the core test failure, I can't explain that one, since no tests are run
out of the package. From the console output it looks like a C++ test dumped
core? Weird, and purely coincidental as far as I can tell from here.

> As per the conversation in ZOOKEEPER-364, I submitted a Software Grant
> Agreement to the ASF last week for Net::ZooKeeper by fax and surface mail; it
> might take a few more days for it to show up in the private grants.txt file,
> I believe.
> I also created a Net::ZooKeeper package, version 0.33, with licenses and a
> NOTICE file as required by the ASF for any ASF project. It is attached to
> this issue and also available at
> http://people.apache.org/~chrisd/projects/net_zookeeper/.
