That's actually pretty old stuff, it appeared on the trunk a long
time ago. ;)
The new-style actions refer to the fact that they are now action
information objects stored in the actions tool and implementing the
IAction interface.
The pluggable TypeInformation objects simply means you can plug any
object implementing ITypeInformation into the types tool and it will
work.
