Hi Jens, My pythonproducts product currently patches CMF's listDefaultTypeInformation method so that it is able to get information from python packages that don't necessarilly live in Products/*. I know CMF2 doesn't use listDefaultTypeInformation anymore, so I was wondering if it would be ok to patch CMF1.6 (for the CMF 1.6.1 release). Some would argue that my patch is a feature when I argue it is indeed fixing the bug that CMF cannot load type information from regular python packages. What do you think? Would it be acceptable to include this into CMF 1.6.1 ? (or 1.6.2? or?) - Rocky ps. pythonproducts also used to patch Zope itself but these patches are now included in Zope 2.10 proper. -- Rocky Burt ServerZen Software -- http://www.serverzen.com News About The Server (blog) -- http://www.serverzen.net
