Please don't call this a "hotfix". That term is reserved for products that fix important bugs (especially security bugs) in Zope. A product can dynamically patch things, using the same mechanism as a Hotfix. However, use of this mechanism does not qualify a product as a Hotfix. The terms "monkeypatch" and "dynamic patch" have been used to describe this mechanism.
