The object has a "ObjectPermission" that controls handling references (!)
to the object (itself) in TTW code.
TTW code should not get a reference to an object when it does
not have the "ObjectPermission" on it.

Therefore, "getObject" tries hard to return "None" instead of the
object in these cases.
