Just for clarity: spawing a child process is the only way to keep the testrunner from killing the zopectl shell. I have no idea why OSX would cause EINTR in that case, but I would rather not revert here (I run tests *all day long* from within the zopectl shell, interleaving with 'fg', 'start', 'stop', etc.) If anyone has a fix for OSX which doesn't remove the child process, I'm all for that (but can't do the work myself).
