There was a stale lockfile again, and there's no obvious warning (and not even a working event log) for the instance that handles it.
I have also changed the catalog configuration to immediately catalog everything that is not a TextIndex. There's no sane reason to wait with cataloging for indices that are either fast to catalog or relevant to security (allowedRolesAndUsers).
