Only if you didn't read the RELEASE-NOTES.
Use kgcc, it is the same compiler as RH 6.2 has.

not quite. You should stop zope, open a new terminal, and start zope
from there. More often than not, you will need to set up the $SYBASE
variables in the zope start up script. Running Zope in a 'clean'
terminal will test the environment.
