We see something similar once in a while (about once in 6 month):

  *  Zope stops serving requests:
     processes are there, no memory problem, no time consumption

  *  Zope 2.1.6 on Solaris 2.7

We do not know what causes the problem.
As it happens very rarely, we do not care much.
