Because I use ZEO, I got lots of often modified objects, and on Zope servers I got lots of memory so I can give it a try ;)

There is no "typical value". Changing the thread number and pool size puts you *way* off-road, fiddling with it should be avoided. You will have to experiment if you really think you need to change that setting. More connections -> more RAM usage.
