Depending on what performance levels you need, I've used these folks in the past and have had excellent service from them: aplus.net (http://servers.aplus.net/valueservers.html) - Their $49.00/mo server was an awesome buy for what I needed - and it's fully dedicated. They have higher end machines as well. You get root, so you can do whatever you wish.
