The LaserWriter Pro 630 has ethernet builtin, and it works well in a mixed environment. On place even hoosk up PCs to the parallel port simultaneously. 8 MB is standard with PhotoGrade. More really isn't necessary for 600 dpi. Any more than 8 MB will be used for a cache. Memory upgrade options are a little thin on account of the two slots not being equal. Only the first one takes a double-sided stick.
