I am a long term sam user and a three button mouse, but I also like the ease of navigation of a scroll wheel.
I use a Beatus mouse - three real buttons and a scroll wheel on the side for your thumb. Sadly they are only made right handed and they are a little small for my hand but they are still the best I have found.
