The only people who feel like there's some conflict to resolve are people who do not use the software and have nothing to offer except for social commentary. This "us vs them" shit is only of interest to people who are unaware that the argument stopped happening years ago. "What people want" is in general to feel like they're helping, but these days it's a rare 9fan whose head is inserted so deep that middle management seems like the helping hand we all need.
