Hi, I just started to build the latest acegi from CVS by Maven and tried out the Contacts sample. Everything worked great, till I tried to switch from HSQL to MYSQL.
Noticed the SQL syntax in 'DataSourcePopulator' wasn't supported by mysql, so I modified that, plus I added the MYSQL driver into the lib directory manually. Now I am able to run the Contacts sample and see all the pages, but in read-only mode ( lack of auto-gen key in my custom file). My questions: - Can we make DataSourcePopulator a generic Populator, in order to support multiple databases for testing ? - Does anybody know the equivalant of "ID INTEGER GENERATED BY DEFAULT AS IDENTITY(START WITH 100)" in MYSQL world?
