Hello, We've encountered a rather annoying bug in the java5 compiler regarding annotations, see the buglist: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6365854 . So, it does affect the use of the @Secured annotation. The bug seems to be fixed in Java6, but it's too soon for us to switch to that version. The workaround is to put the dependent java resource (in this case the Secured annotation stuff available via the acegisecurity-tiger-1.2.0.jar) in our particular project dependency-list(/classpath), but that is somewhat annoying to do and doesn't feel right.
I know this ain't an acegi bug, but i like to know how you guys handle this situation ? thx -wil- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
