The kernel 2.6.24-rc6-git11-3 fixes the thermal issue. After resuming from disk, the fans are still working! Good job guys. s2ram is still a bit buggy, but I'm aware my laptop is not in the database. The only ugly point is that bug in mkinitrd, which doesn't takes into account the version of udev you're handling.
