Subject: [ActiveDir] Netdiag warning Cannot find a primary authoritative DNS
Hi all,
I have two 2003 DCs, DC0 and DC1 - DC0 is an upgraded NT 4 BDC (on new
hardware). DNS was installed during dcpromo, AD intergated.
Replication seems to work fine.
I am not experiencing any noticeable problems, but when I wrong netdiag /v I get the following
What causes this? Can't seem to find any reason
I tried both having each DC point to itself for DNS, I also tried having DC1 use only DC0 as its DNS server. Is there a preferred way?
Thanks
Greg
