Trouble getting Remote Assistance going. XP w/ SP2 in a 2K3 domain. XP firewall disabled on both boxes.
Two computers for test. Both in the same OU. GPO forces offer and invite enabled with a group having the permissions. RSOP on both machines shows it is all taking effect. Both logged on users are local admins, and are in fact domain admins. Invitations for Assistance work fine, in both directions. However Offer Assistance fails with 'Permission Denied'. Been through everything here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;310629 Simple file sharing off and verified the groups and members are being passed down. This one does not apply, that group policy is undefined.
