My server install bin directory has a dsmserv.rc script which it says to copy to the name of your instance owner in /etc/rc.d/init.d/
That's how I start my TSM instance on Linux. All docs I see/find (yes I Googled and see stuff talking about the client but not the server) still talk about the old chkconfig way and using dsmserv.rc? -- *Zoltan Forray* TSM Software & Hardware Administrator Xymon Monitor Administrator VMware Administrator (in training) Virginia Commonwealth University UCC/Office of Technology Services www.ucc.vcu.edu zfor...@vcu.edu - 804-828-4807 Don't be a phishing victim - VCU and other reputable organizations will never use email to request that you reply with your password, social security number or confidential personal information.
