Nice website design, Dave. I think the curriculum could definitely provide background information to enhance the wood frog monitoring project. The curriculum contains lots of activities to enrich people’s understanding of frogs and toads. You are welcome to add the curriculum link wherever you see fit. -Anne

Anne, Hello Everyone,
I wanted to let all of you know that “It’s not Easy Being Green”, an amphibian curriculum for Southeast Alaska, is finally finished and available on the Alaska Department of Fish & Game Website, under Sport Fishing, Teacher Resources, Amphibian Resources.
The page is http://www.sf.adfg.state.ak.us/region1/amphib/amphib.cfm
100 copies were distributed to school districts and teachers throughout Southeast. The curriculum includes activities that can be done all year long, not just in the spring, and integrates language arts, science, and social studies. If you know of any educators interested in amphibians please let them know about this. Thanks to all of you who helped make this happen! Our hope is that it increases the interest and knowledge of teachers, students, and their families so that these fascinating animals will be appreciated and preserved.
