Does anyone know that status of the support for Sigmatel STAC9757T based sound cards in either ALSA or the linux kernel? It is used in the new fujitsu lifebooks P series notebooks. (http://www.fujitsupc.com/www/products_notebooks.shtml?products/notebooks/p_series) Searching on google, I get a link to some doc's on the ALSA site for the sigmatel hardware, but I don't see it listed in the supported cards matrix. Perhaps it's encompassed in some ac97 stuff, but I don't really have an understanding of the specification and how it works.
