Hello all,
I've a problem with a SoundBlaster Live that I couldn't resolve reading
the archives.
When trying to record (with Audacity) the output of my soundcard (i.e.
from Xmms, or Beatrix organ) I can't adjust the record level to have a
clean sound : either (a lot) too weak or very distorded and crunchy as
soon as I try to increase the capture level.
I.E. :
- Playback : PCM 100, AC97 0
- Input : capture 75 AC97 75 gives -36dB in Audacity
Increasing these parameters leeds to echo, distortion and feedback. I
tried a lot of combinations without success. I never had this pb with
other souncards and tried two different soundblasters with the same
pb.
No Arts, no Jack runnning. I think I miss something, but what ?
