Hello!
I get the following error when trying to run alsamixer to turn my sound
volume up (i.e i cant get the sound to work!)
ALSA lib simple.c:944:(simple_add1) helem (MIXER,'IEC958 Playback
Switch',0,0,0) appears twice or more
alsamixer: function snd_mixer_load failed: Invalid argument
i compiled alsa-drivers
ran ./snddevices
ran modprobe soundcore
ran modprobe snd-ali5451
also compiled and installed alsa-lib and alsa-utils with no errors
any ideas?? getting desperate over here!!
