Subject: NAFA Open World Series -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Middleton, Wisconsin The website for the 2007 NAFA Open World Series is now up and running at http://www.open.nafafastpitch.com. The website will serve as the information point for all events and items pertaining to the event. A special thanks go out to Rod Peterson and Dave LeBlanc of The Farm Tavern for allowing NAFA to partner with them and their hugely successful Farm Tavern Tournament and create the NAFA Open World Series. All games will be played at the Bowling Green Recreation Complex in Middleton, Wisconsin. The tournament field features the host team The Farm Tavern, 2006 Open Co-Champions Circle Tap and Townline, eight other ISC-level ballclubs and the 2006 NAFA Class AA World Champions New Image. Friday's first round matchups are as follows: 4:30pm: Bloomington Stix vs Midwest Stampede, Dolan & Murphy vs Plangger's Furniture 6:00pm: Albaugh, Inc. vs New Image, Kegel Black Knights vs Thomson Area Merchants 7:00pm: Circle Tap vs Dolan & Murphy/Plangger's winner 8:30pm: MinnDak Millers vs Stix/Stampede winner 9:00pm: Townline vs Albaugh/New Image winner 9:30pm: The Farm Tavern vs Kegel/Thomson winner The full tournament bracket can be found on the website under the "Bracket" page.
