Hello Al
Just posting to inform the fast pitch world of the
formation of the Schutt Hitmen from Melbourne Australia.
This has been a long time in the making and is shaping up to
to something very special.
Ken Sommers from Schutt Sports Asia/Pacific has been instrumental
it the organisation from the sponsors front along with Andrew
Bailey of Fielders Choice Softball Store.
Our Player base will be made up of current and former Australian
National team reps, Along with players who have experienced playing
in NZ USA & Canada.
Our season will consist of various tournements and leagues:
September - Memorial Cup Werribee Victoria
Oct - Dec - Western Travel League
Dec - Canberra International Skins Tourney
Jan - Feb Victorian State Travel League
Feb - Victorian State Titles
Coaching Staff Frank Grego & Jamie Hurinui have put together
an outstanding group of players who will carry the Schutt name
with pride through out the 2007 / 2008 summer season.
