The "Can't fork" error is typically caused by shortage of available virtual
memory (i.e. swap space). This is seconded by "not enough memory available"
as reported by Avira AntiVir.

So, the solution is to increase swap space, or check what is eating
memory (output of 'ps', VSZ column).
