Is there any update on this issue?  I'm seeing it now as well, although 
only on debian5 & Ubuntu 8 systems.  RHEL, OSX seem unaffected.

I was able to track the segfault down to a single line in a message:

First, the message:

$ cat p001

----- Forwarded Message -----
From: [email protected]
To: [email protected]
Sent: Wednesday, October 14, 2009 3:29:43 PM
Subject: testing

The following meeting has been modified:

Subject: testing
Organizer: [email protected]

Time: Thursday, October 15, 2009, 1:30:00 PM - 2:30:00 PM GMT -08:00 
US/Canada
Pacific

Invitees: [email protected]

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*



If I remove the line:

----- Forwarded Message -----


it no longer segfaults.
