Now I'm a bit ashamed as I remember reading that in the docs, but I didn't 
connect the dots.

Could you add change a wording a bit in that section: "To each message passed 
to local recipients amavisd inserts a header field" int sth. like this "To each 
message passed to local (matching the @local_domains_maps) recipients amavisd 
inserts a header field"
