You can do it by ASCII import. There are some default fields in the database other than price, which can be imported. See the 'Format Definition commands' section to have a list of available fields and also the process of defining the format for importing data.
Regarding this issue, I have a query to experts, whether it is possible to add some customized fields in the database other than the available fields?
