OMG, Arun, where are you setting the last parameter of the list.do you see the below example which i have shown in bold letters.
ListAdapter adapter = new ArrayAdapter<String>(this, android.R.layout.simple_list_item_multiple_choice,*list*); The above list should be filled by your xml parser. hope you understand.
