Hello!

First, the post i'm talking about is this one:
http://android-developers.blogspot.fr/2012/01/say-goodbye-to-menu-button.htmland
the particular part of the post is "Action overflow button for legacy
apps".

I have an application that works exactly the way I want in a smartphone.
But that behaves differently on a tablet. In the post in question has a
specific section that talks about using the legacy overflow models in
android 4.0 above:

*"The only exception is that if you set minSdkVersion to 10 or lower, set
targetSdkVersion to 11, 12, or 13, and you do not use ActionBar, the system
will add the legacy overflow button when running your app on a handset with
Android 4.0 or higher."*

My application is with these settings, but how exactly do I remove the
actionBar? If I try to use getActionBar.hide (), I get the message that I
need at least API 11 so that I can make use of this method. Using a theme
that has explicitly "NoActionBar" in the manifest also does not work, they
also need a minimum of API 11. And so on. I've tried use
"@android:style/Theme.NoTitleBar.Fullscreen" but the overflow will not
appear on the side of the navigation system as i want.

*Reminding that all that i said works perfectly on a smartphone, the
problem is on tablet.*
