I'm using Key event to manipulate some buttons on remote control through
services and broadcast, but I'm guessing that it only triggers events
through some component and not with my background application. Can anyone
confirm this? For example, my application is Android TV and Smart TVs have
their Foreground, lists of videos most viewed last added, etc, then it
stays in the background, the user opens the VEVO / YOUTUBE / ETC and
chooses a video then clicking a certain button Remote control my app should
be opened over to register that video. Is this feasible through Key Event?
Otherwise any suggestions on how to do this?
