Working closely with the Finance function of the business to deliver, maintain and troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality, responsible for the analysis, design and configuration of the SAP FI and CO modules to meet the business needs. The SAP FICO Consultant adds value to the client’s business through extensive knowledge of the SAP Finance application modules and knowledge of their integration with other modules, and through constructive teamwork with the business and with other IT teams throughout the world. Major/Key Accountabilities *Key accountabilities:* - Ensure SAP Production environment stability and provide continuous support globally - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in FI/CO module. - Understand the business financial processes and how the application supports these business processes, and apply this knowledge to best solve problems. - Develop relationships within to leverage applications expertise and maintain customer orientation. - Provide specialist functional and configuration knowledge in designing and building quality SAP solutions in the FI (GL/AP/AR/FA/Banking), CO (CCA, PCA, and COPA), application to meet business requirements. - Knowledge of Vertex O series interface with SAP. - Assist in gathering user requirements and their documentation - Provide solution alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality. - Create agreed functional specifications and work with technical resources to complete object development and testing. - May lead and coordinate the work of a small team - Working in international projects in a multicultural team - Provide leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing - Understand and apply the client’s methodologies and procedures.
