Lauderdale, FL* *Start Date : 1 year +* *Interview : Telephonic/Skype * We are in need of a senior (8 years+) *Project Manager with large-scale Payroll, HR and/or Talent Acquisition application experience, Ideally, PeopleSoft HCM*. They would like a PMP certified PM who has been through at least two full, HR/Payroll/Talent acquisition implementations. This is a phone and Skype to hire. I know the rate is not great but it is what it is. There may be a little flexibility in rate for the right candidate so please send even if over the target. *Please only send me candidates with experience managing HR/Payroll or Talent acquisition implementation projects. * Managers Notes · *PeopleSoft HCM 9.1* for payroll and human resource management preferred · Minimum 5 years of experience with large-scale Payroll, HR and/or Talent Acquisition application experience. · PMP certification preferred. · Proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM or other HR/Payroll application required. Primary Duties: · Manage the planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation project effort. · Be conversant with all contractual details and ensure vendor compliance throughout all phases of the project. · Review, approve and ensure all changes to program scope are documented and follow approved change control processes. · Ensure detail review of deliverables for quality, technical accuracy and requirements compliance. · Manage and coordinate all Lennar activities. · Monitor project milestones and phases to ensure work progress is on schedule and any change orders are required, justified, approved, and reasonable. · Prepare detailed status reports which accurately report progress and highlight issue and risk items for review and escalation. · Coordinate and communicate work with all team members and related teams in accordance with project timelines, milestones, phases, work requests target dates, and approved executable work packages. · Build and maintain relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and contractor representatives. · Identify risks and issues and proactively address them. · Lead and conduct meetings in accordance with high professional standards and effectiveness. · Protect the Lennar’s best interests in all work managed and performed. Knowledge and Experience Requirements: · Minimum 8 years Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Management experience. · Minimum 5 years of experience with large-scale Payroll, HR and/or Talent Acquisition application experience. · Minimum two (2) full lifecycle Payroll/HR or Talent Acquisition implementation projects from vendor selection and requirements definition through implementation. · Minimum 5 years hands-on expertise with Microsoft Office products including MS-Project and Visio. · Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills. · Experience with management of large software implementation projects. · Experience with process improvement and procedures. · Proven strong organizational skills. · Proven experience managing a large project team. Formal Education & Certification · B.S Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or IT discipline. · PMP certification preferred. · Proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM or other HR/Payroll application required. · Advance proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS-Project) Personal Attributes · Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. · Reacts to assignment adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. · Flexible during times of change. · Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. · Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating. · Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. · Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise. · Ability to bring project to successful completion through organizational dynamics. · Strong written and oral communication skills. · Strong interpersonal and operational skill sets · Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products – strong analytics skills. · Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. · Strong Customer service skills and focus required. · Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. · Tenacious, driven, energetic and a high degree of professional integrity. Skills Required: · Strong knowledge of functions and industry trends · Strong relationship building, influencing and communication skills · Broad technical aptitude and knowledge Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. Also requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry items that are less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity required in operating a computer keyboard and a calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time.
